The Papercuts Library is taking a different approach to reader feedback.

Rating and comment systems work well, right up until they don’t, and unfortunately no one takes them down once spam, ill-will, and other unhelpful content and intentions take their toll. So rather than go down the usual path and waste time moderating such proceedings, the Papercuts Library will instead be running an on-going contest for thoughtful and insightful reviews of our work, both positive, negative, and anywhere in-between.

To help support our efforts however, including the time and energy spent considering your feedback, there will be an entry fee to submit your thoughts. We invest time, money, and effort to bring you our publications, and if you believe you have something worth saying about them, we expect you to do the same.

All feedback will be given a thoughtful reading. The best submissions will be displayed on the website, with selected winners receiving a special discount code for future purchases.
